Yesterday was my return to the lakefront and it was an awesome run. I felt great and most importantly I was running with my best running partner EVER. I missed her so much, specially our runs, we had not run together in a long time. These are some of the things I neglected while in a relationship, we stopped running together which led to me kind off not running at all and her getting way faster.
Yesterday it reminded me of the good old runs, when we could just talk and talk for miles at a time and spend hours together just running. I can't wait to get back here and do it regularly, with her =)
Since it was a Niketown run and we checked gear at the store I don't have actual pictures of the run but what I do have is pictures of the matching hoodies Shannon got us after our run - Shamrock Shuffle hoodies that were ON SALE! Winner!
Tomorrow morning we have a race and we will take pics, so some cool shots are soon to come. I haven't done a race in a long time and I can't wait to be back this summer and sign up for as many races as possible. It's going to be an amazing summer here, filled with friends and running and all those things and people that make my days wonderful.
I can't wait to be back.
