I have to say that even though I miss Chicago tremendously, I am so happy to be back home. I got home last night to my lovely clean home and slept in my bed, it felt so good! I took a bubble bath before bed, had soup for dinner and catch up on "Parenthood", show that I love. This morning I started my routine again and finally went to church =) Yes my friend! I found a church! I went this morning and I was so happy, the music was amazing and the Pastor was great and funny... boy have I missed this. It felt so much like Calvary Chapel but just smaller, Sophia had a great time and is looking forward to going back.
I have to thank my new friend Cher who I met through Jackie, she attends this church and was kind enough to invite me. After church she fixed me and Sophia a lovely lunch while our kids played in this beautiful weather. Now I am getting ready to go to my bestie Jackie to spend some much needed catch up time.
I have to say that life is what you make it. I just moved to a brand new city and even though I miss my friends and family it is my mission to make the best of it. I have met already great people who have welcomed me into their homes, introduced me to friends and helped me find all the little things that make life more you when relocating.
I am just happy and grateful, life is beautiful and Sophia is happy and healthy... Everything else is just a plus and when I look at it, there are a ton of pluses in my life!
Remember people, life is what you make it... So make it beautiful!
